Consultation is by appointment only, both morning and evening. We also provide telephone consultations again available morning and evening. If you have several problems which are likely to be time consuming, please indicate this to the receptionist at the time of booking the appointment.
You can make an appointment by telephone or by calling in to the surgery during opening hours. If you feel your condition is very serious or very urgent, please make it clear to the receptionist.
Please note occasionally we may need to change the time of the evening surgery at short notice.
There are are four appointments available per week after 18:00 for those patients who cannot attend the normal surgery times.
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.
If you require an interpreter, this can be arranged with advance notice, by the receptionist.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
If you miss 3 appointments without notifying reception in advance that you are unable to attned, we will write to you and ask you to register elsewhere. The demand for appointments is high and the surgery cannot cope with repeated wasted appointments.
